IMS Group USA to Showcase MyWay Stand-Up Pouch Form Fill Seal Machine at PACK EXPO Chicago 2026
Flexible automated system forms, fills, and seals stand-up pouches directly from rollstock at speeds of up to 40 pouches per minute.
IMS Group USA will showcase MyWay, an automated Stand-Up Pouch Form Fill Seal (FFS) machine, in partnership with ImTech s.r.l. at PACK EXPO International 2026, Booth N-5974, October 18–21 in Chicago.
Designed to bring greater flexibility, precision, and efficiency to modern pouch packaging, MyWay forms stand-up pouches directly from heat-sealable rollstock film. The fully automated system manages the pouch-making process from film unwinding through forming, filling, sealing, cutting, and discharge within a compact, integrated platform.
Capable of producing stand-up pouches ranging from 180 × 180 mm to 340 × 400 mm at mechanical speeds of up to 40 pouches per minute, MyWay gives manufacturers the flexibility to accommodate a variety of products and packaging formats. The system handles heat-sealable materials including PE, PP, and laminated films and can produce gusseted pouches with bottom reinforcement for improved stability, durability, and shelf presentation.
A PLC and CNC Kollmorgen control system provides precise control of film handling, sealing, and cutting, while motorized film unwinding and pulling maintain consistent film movement throughout production. Automatic film-end detection pauses the system and alerts operators when material runs out, helping minimize waste and production interruptions.
MyWay incorporates horizontal and vertical sealing with a die-cut bottom seal, along with an exit belt and scrap collection system for streamlined operation. Its modular, CE-certified design supports customization and integration with filling systems, upstream equipment, downstream automation, and other packaging technologies.
The system is well suited for manufacturers packaging food products, granular materials, powders, and specialty products seeking the shelf appeal and functionality of a stand-up pouch with the efficiency of an automated rollstock solution.
